COAL MINER CRUSHED
BY Telegraph.—Press association. V Greymouth, November 17 John Birch (aged 6), a coal miner, met with a serious accident to-day in the Middle Brake section of the Liverpool State Colliery. Full Mucks were being* railed up in a jig when a prop was pulled out by the weight, causing the rail to rise and crush Birch, who is now In a critical condition in hospital with internal injuries.
