Y.M.C.A. GYMNASIUM
KILBIRNIE BRANCH. The annual competitions of the Kilbirnie branch of the Y.M.C.A. Gymnasium were held on Monday evening. Before announcing the results, Mr. J. A. Duffy, the judge, remarked that all the work during the evening was of a very high standard, reflecting great credit on his assistant, Mr. H. J. Steptoe, who lias had charge of this section of the work during the year. Regarding the pupils. Mr. Duffy felt that he must specially mention Miss Betty Hill in the girls’ class, whose work was the best ' he had seen for a long time.
