POSITION MORE SERIOUS THAN EVER Dominion Special. Palmerston North, November 13. It is officially stated that it will be three weeks at'least before the railwayline in the Manawatu Gorge, which is still covered bv the slip, will be again open for traffic. The difficulties in regard to the clearance work 'have become more complicated through the appearance of a fissure between the first and second tunnels close to the slip, and this has caused the concrete retaining wall to crack. The position is now more serious than ever, and the experts engaged on the job have.under consideration a new scheme to meet the situation. ,
