ARRANGEMENT FOR KEEPING IT ALIVE SIR JAMES CRAIG’S ATTITUDE By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. November 29, 7.35 p.m.) London, November 29. Tho Australian Press Association understands that while Sir James Craig is obdurate in his refusal to meet Sinn Fein delegates at the Conference now, ho is a party to an arrangement under which tho machinery of the Conference will be kept alive and tho truce remain unbroken. Mr. Edward Shortt, speaking at Ber-wick-on-Tweed, said that both South and North Ireland lacked confidence in Britain and in each other. He was more sanguine than others that the Government might be able to produce a set of arrangements which would settle tho quarrel between Britain and Ireland. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. THE CAUSE OF ULSTER PREPARATIONS TO PUBLISH PAPERS IN LONDON. (Rec. November 29, 10 p.m.) London, November 29. The "Daily Mirror” states that preparations are being made for the publication in London of penny morning and evening papers devoted to Ulster.
