AUCKLAND SUPREME COURT

SEVERAL SENTENCES IMPOSED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, November 26. The following sentences were imposed by Mr. Justice Stringer at the Supreme Court:—William John Rushton, receiving stolen property, nine months’ imprisonment; William Lanksheer Waters and Herbert Cummings, theft from th? waterside, six months each; Mrs. .Mary Ann Miller, and Mrs. Elizabeth Cochrane, forging of a will, fined £5O each; Charles McGoon, a Fijian, for assault causing actual bodily harm, three months; Theodore Poulton, forgery, one year, concurrent with his present sentence; William Knox, assault with intent to rob, to come up for sentence when called upon.
