TERRITORIAL TRAINING, ETC.
Sir, —Although I do not agree with tho sentiments; expressed by "One Camp” in this matter, I think it is a fact that Territorials are losing all ipterest in their training and military affairs. This is not because the discipline proves irksome to them, but because of the monotony of the course of training. I have served my time ns a Cadet and am at present, as a Territorial, receiving the same elemental infantry instruction as I received on the first night I attended a Cadet parade. “Cadet” urges stricter discinline, which would be a good thing in many cases, but so also would progressiveness. I am, etc., PROGRESSIVE. Eketahuna, November 22.
