RAILWAY DISASTER
CRIMINAL REMOVAL OF RAILS TEN PERSONS KILLED ; EIGHTY INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrigh’ (Rec. November 11, 9.5 p.m.) Lisbon, November 11. A railway disaster which occurred in Alemtejo was caused by the criminal removal of a section of tho rails. It resulted in ton persons being killed and eighty injured. The majority of the victims were women and children. Three similar attempts to wreck trains elsewhere failed.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn.
