BRITISH AND FOREIGN SEAMEN’S SOCIETY
At X Store last evening the seamen in port were the guests of the British and Foreign Sailors’ Society at a social evening. There was a large assemblage, and the gathering proved highly successful. Miss E. Wilkinson and party, of Northland, were responsible for the presentation of ft bright musical programme, interspersed with which were games, competitions. etc. Lusty cheers for the promoters were given by tho men at the close of tho evening.
