Izu-d Clifford, of Chudleigh, has presented in the House of I,ords a petition over a mile, in length containing 75,M5 signatures. It was from the people of Monmouthshire, who asked for the samo privileges of Sunday opening (under the Licensing Bill) ns aro to exist in every other English county. It is said to bo tho largest petition over presented to the House of Itords.
