“SNATCH PURSE!”
AVOMAN LOSES A'so AND TRAIN TICKETS. On AA'ednesday e.vening a lady boarded a tramcar at the Lambton Station in order to proceed to the Thorndon Station to catch the express for Auckland. On reaching the latter station she found that her purso had been stolen. It contained .£5O and two train tickets for Auckland. Tho only passenger to alight from tho car between the two stations was a woman who left the car at the Davis Street stop, and disappeared into the dark along that thoroughfare.
