FREE OF ALL DEBT
DOMINION BIBLD HOUSE. In celebration of the freeing of the Dominion Bible House from all debt, Mr. G. A. Troup, chairman of the Dominion Council of the British and Foreign Bible Society, entertained tho Dominion Council and'cßible House staff last evening, at the Rendezvous Ten Rooms. Members of the council present were: Messrs. T. Ballinger, W. Hopkirk, A. O'. Port, G. M'Cartney, Percy Cox, R. L. Button, E. J, D. Horens, W. Hclyer, B. P. Hay, Pov. A. T. Thompson (Dominion secretary), and Misses Bowden and Miller. Tt was announced that the final payment had at last been made on the society's valuable property in Ballance Street; and that arrangements had been made for its transfer to the parent society at London, the British and Foreign Bible Society. During the evening a presentation was made to Mr. Troup by members of the council’ and tho Bible House staff, of a handsomely-bound Bible, in commemoration of the occasion.
