Sydney, July 21. Dr. Thompson, referring to Mr. M'Tiernan’s reply to the deputation, explains that the reports suggest that Mrs. Farr is endeavouring to evade her obligations, but the Public Trustee has her estate, and refuses to give it up. Furthermore, ho has sworn statements by three Crown Ministers that the inquiry cost the applicant nothiing.—Press Assu.
