BRITISH COALITION

“NO LONGER POSSESSES CONFIDENCE OF UNIONISTS”

LORD SALISBURY’S SHARP CRITICISM

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, June 19.

Lord Salisbury has issued d letter, stating that tho Coalition no longer possesses the confidence of the Unionists, although they are proud to follow many Coalitionists in other than a political connection. The Government’s vacillation, unsuccessful foreign policy, and mishandling of domestic crises and Ireland, had fatally estranged publio opinion. It was the duty of every Unionist elector to inform his member of Parliament that the latter had no further obligation to the Coalition. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
