SECTIONAL STRIKES
EFFECT ON NEW SOUTH WALES COAL OUTPUT.

It is stated on behalf of tho Northern coalowners that the output during the first foui’ months of 1921 from the Maitland and Newcastle mines diminished by 808,000 tons, in consequence of sectional strikes, against a reduction of 398,000 tons throughout 1920 for a similar reason. —Press Assn.
