PROHIBITION OF DEALINGS IN "FUTURES.” (Rec. May 19, 9.40 p.m.) Now York, May 19. The Illinois State Senate has passed a Bill providing for Government regulation of the operation of grain exchanges. The Bill prohibits the buying or selling ot grain for future delivery without actual ownership. . If is predicted that tho Chicago Board of Trade will be forced to move. It is understood that the board has alreadybeen invited to Toledo, Ohio, which possesses a fin©harbour, huge gram elevators, and wide-spreading railway communications, with an established gram export trade.—Aus.-N.Z.
