BETTER HARVESTS PREDICTED.

Sir Oliver Lodge considers that, the extra radiation due to the magnetic disturbances is likely to result in better harvests throughout the world, particularly in India, where it will, "have the effect of strengthening the monsoon. The increased light will also cause greater evaporation from the sea, followed by more generous rainfalls. The regions benefiting will depend upon local climatic conditions.—" Times.”
