The Socialist-Communist representation in the new Chamber, though reduced to a quarter of the total number of seats, still remains redoubtable. A large number of Fascist! have been elected, who in time will probably develop into an Agrarian Labour Party with patriotic leanings. Tho Fascisti offensive and sanguinary encounters continue throughout Italy, but principally in tho north. The Communists have begun to ambush isolated Fascist!, killing and wounding many — Vus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
FORECAST OF NEW CHAMBER. ’ (Rec. May 19, 11-30 p.m.) Rome, Alay 18. The "Idea Nazionale” forecasts that the new Chambei will consist of -8a Coalitionists and 244 Opposition Of the latter, 135 are Socialists and Communists, and four are Germans;—Reuter.
