ENTHUSIASTIC WELCOME.

Cape Town, May 18.
Prince and Princess Arthur of Connaught are visiting Basutoland. They were enthusiastically received by 45,006 Basutos at-Maseni. The reception ceremonies included the brandishing of assegais and battleaxes. The natives arc jubilant over this, the first royal visit to Basutoland. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
