SHIPS FOR FARMERS
SCHEME DISCUSSED BY PRODUCERS’ COMMITTEE.
The. proposal for the establishment of a farmers’ shipping company, which would have some Government support, was discussed by tho Standing Producers Committee yesterday afternoon. Fhe members of the committee subsequently interviewed the Acting-Prime Abnister (Sir Francis Bell) and other members of the Government, and placed certain suggestions before , them. Sir Francis Bell promised that the suggestions would receive the consideration of Cabinet.
