Chicago, April 6. Tho Secretary of Agriculture (Mr. Wallace) met representatives of fdl'mers’ organisations throughout the country, and worked out plan for tho co-operative marketing of grain with Government assistance.

REDUCTION OF CROP ACREAGE REPORTED. Washington, April 6.

The Agricultural Department is investigating reporta that the farmers are reducing the crop acreage, as a strike against low prices. The United Press Agency’s correspondents throughout the country, however, have reported that the acreage is normal.
