THORNDON STATION
Sir— Notwithstanding that requests have been made from time to time for lavatory accommodation on Thorndon station'for Indies travelling on suburban trains, the matter still remains unheeded. There is every obstacle put in the way of passengers getting even what does cxisf. Many times women, mothers, children are refused admission to these conveniences, and it is high time this state of things wne ended. Thorndon railway officials seem to act up to a slogan: “We are easy; the public ba damned.” —I am, etc,, HYGIENIC.
