hutt-petone gas question
For the purpose of considering proposals for a new agreement Wren the two' boroughs submitted by the Petone Council a special meeting of the Ix>wer Hutt Borough Council was held on Monday evening. The proposals were fully considered in committee. As a result it was decided, that the Hutt could not sccept Petone s cite: o 6’. Bd. per IflOOft., for if that werei done the charge to their consumers would be C °A. S motion was subsequently canned unanimously that proposals be to the ratepayers for sanefeo gasworks of their own at Lown Hutt.
