MONEY MARKET. The Bank of England discount rate, which had stood at 5 per cent, since April 5. 1917, on which date it was reduced from 58 per cent., was raised to 6 per cent, on November 6. 1919, and to 7 per cent, ou April 15, 1923. OPEN MARKET RATES. Tho open Kiarket rate for three monthsbill is 61 per cent., as compared with 68 per cent, last week, and 5J per cent, last year. / >Short loans are. quoted at 5i per cent., as against 51 per cent, last week, and 4S per cent, last year.
