London, March 18.
'Tho bulk of Mr. Lloyd George's speech to the CoaliiSon Liberals at the 1920 Club was an attack on the Labour Party He said that it was a great end formidable party, which would become the dominating party unless steps were L-ken to inform the electors v hat were the issues involved. There tvere millions of people whose political views were unformed. They must be shown that the Labour policy means the destruction ot private property and private er terprise, and the conversion of the whole means of production Into a State machine. That might be good or bad, but! it was a complete revolution. If he thcug’h.t the Coalition existed merely to defend the interests, power, and profits of Capital ~_he would quit the Coalition in. disgust, but capitalists were as deeply concerned for the. people’s welfare as any-body.^’Aus.-N.Z.
