This sweeping conclusion on a great human problem has been reached by no less an authority that, the Foreign Relations Committee of the United States Senate, which has been considering a proposal whereby Canada and the United States would mutually agree to extradite wife deserters. The proposed treaty, ivhich wn» the result of representations by women voters to their M.P.’s, was rejected, only Senator Lodge voting in its favour.
