The highest points scored for tach shield were as follow:—Aggregate shield: Hillside Railway, 114; Hastings, 57; Lyttelton, 48; Gore 37; Taumarunui, 32; Greymouth, 30. Manual shidl 1: Hi’lsid: Railway, 42; Hastings, 29; linehunga 21; Greymouth, 10; Gore, 9; Masterton, 8. High pressure shield: Hillside Railway, 93; Hastings, 47; Gore, 37; Lyttelton, 32; Taumarunui, 30; Greymouth, 20. Hose, hydrant, and union (5 men): Hillside, 43 3-ssec.; Taumarunui, 48sec.; Gore, 48 3-ssec.; Hastings, 44 l-ssec. Hastings hnd to run-off with Fitzroy' and Addington, and the time given for Hastings is a run-off record.
