THE SESSION
BUILDINGS BEING PREPARED Preparations are being made at the Parliamentary Buildings for the opening of the special session of the Legislature this week. The recess staff has Bfeen busy for several days past, and it will grow Ko its sessional dimensions during the next day or two. Some of the members from both north and south have ’ already reached Wellington, but the majority will arrive to-morrow and on Wednesday. Some additional accommodation at th® new Parliamentary Buildings has beeff coihpleted since last session, but the only important alteration will be the meeting of the Legislative Council in ids new chamber. The opening of Parliament took place in this chamber last year, but the Councillors then returned to their old temporary chamber. Lins year they will occupy the new chamber for good, although some of its interior work remains to be comple.ed.
