BOUNDARY RESIDENTS COMPLAIN.
As chairman of'the Outlying Districts Committee of tho City Council, Councillor L. M'Kenzie has had brought under his notice the disability 6U^ 3F residents of Kilbirnie South and Aliramar, who live near the old boundao, in the matter of tramway transport. Before Miramar was absorbed by the city, a certain number of cars used to make the boundary their terminus, which was very convenient to the rapidly increase, population thereabouts, but since the amalgamation that plan has been„ doned, and the cars either make Seatoun or the Kilbirnie Post Office then terminus. Seatoun may have been gwe.n a better all-round service, but that has not helped the boundary people as the cars from Seatoun that reach tonni in time for business are a!ways cros It is su-gested that the cars that now Hirn at the Kilbirnie Post Office shou d runas faras the boundary in order to that district. These matters) aro being referred to the tramway managewent for consideration.
