TO-DAY’S MATCHES. All-day matches commencing at 10 a.m. will be played to-day. The main fixture will be played on the Basin Reserve between East and Old Boys. Both teams are well up in the championship. East defeated North, which is considered a strong batting side, and Old Boys in their last match defeated Petone, the team which is at the head of the championship. Both sides are very evenly balanced, and a close contest is anticipated.
