WAIKANAE YEARLINGS
Steady rain fell during the sale of tho Waikanae yearlings, but there was a very large attendance of sportsmen. Bidding was dull and the prices realised were poor. The eight lots offered were sold and the average price was 245 guineas. The prices were: —■ B. c. Martian—Papbia, Mr. E. S. Luttrell, Christchurch. 300 gns. B. f. Boniform —Secret Link, Mr. J. J.
