ANNIVERSARY DAY REGATTA. To-day’s regatta will prove very interesting to those interested in sailing and seamanship. The races for yachts and launches start and finish off the end of Clyde Quay wharf, which will be an oxcellent position from which to see them. Despite a hard north-westerly last yfcar some three to four hundred people viewed the tacing from Clyde Qut»r wharf. The first-class handicap, which will start at 10.15. has attracted seven entries, the second-class handicap at 10, fourteen entries, the fourteen and twentyfooters five and four respectively. The general handicap for keel yachts is to start at 2.45 p.m., and with eighteen yachts all crossing the line together should make a fine sight. Second Class Handicap, 10 a.m.—Wylo, Romp, Rawene, Lizzie, Murjtai, lolanthe, Wairere I. Waimoa, Miru, Venus, Nikau, Seabird. Tsca. Twenty-footer Handicap, 10.30 a.m. •' Spray, Geisha, Nan, Iron Duke 11, Rata, Coo-ee. General Handicap (Keel Yachts), 2.45 p.m.—Marangi, Rona, Ailsa, "Wanderer, Atalanta. Viola, Wairere 11, Wairere I, Wylo, Rawene, Lizzie, Muritai, lolanthe. Venus. Nikau, Seabird, Isca. General Handicap (Twenty Foot and Under).—Geisha, Nan, Iron Duke 11, Coo-ee. Rata. Launches, 3.15 p.m.—Doris, Nellie, Ta.ua. Marie, Blue Bird, lona 11, Puriri. Daphne. Atalanta.
