Dunedin, December 28 A fire was discovered at 1.30 a.m. at Kempthorne and Prosscr's chemical worts at Buroside, and firemen ; wore dispatched from the city. The lire had a good hold in the top story of u building used . for the manufacture of manure. The outbreak was coniincd to this building, and after fighting the fiataes for three hours the firemen wore successful in suppressing them, a splendid save being effected. Fireman Charles Ingrain, of South Dunedin sub-station, was injured in the head, and was taken to the hospital. The damage is estimated at under JiIOOO 5 Be prepared.
