Between noon on Saturday, November 27. and the following Monday morning the house was broken into and the weigh-bridge was greatly damaged. The door of the house was forced, and one of the bar* and the counterpoise • weight of the machine were wrenched away with a crowbar. Apparently the intention was to put the machine out of action, but this was not accomplished. The company is offering a reward of .£IOO for informaHon that will lead. to the conviction of the person or persons responsible.
