'VARSITY SPORTS MEETING

An athletic meeting under the auspices of the Victoria University Amateur AthUiic Club, was held last evening on tho Basin Eeserve, and was well attended. Good entries wore received for' each event, and the affair went with a swing, some good exhibitions being witnessed. The referee was Mr. A. B. Sievwright, and Messrs. H. Paton, A. W. Travers, and L. C. Mackay wero the judges. The results are as follow:—
