(which occupied two days during its second Hearing, was one in which John Yorston, of Wellington,"clerk in the Railway Department, asked for dissolution of liis marriage with Ida May Yorston, on the ground' ttf desertion. Mr. P. W. Jackson appeared for the petitioner, and Mr 11. F. O'Lenry for the respondent. The. case was first heard in Juno last, before Mr. Justice Edwards. After tho iury had returned its decision jesterday. Mr P. W. Jackson formally Stated that ho would not mnlco tion for a new trial.
