ADMIRAL CODRINGTON'S MEAT

A report has been received from the captain nnd chief engineer of the steamer Admiral Codrington as to the condition of Ihe vessel's meat on arrival in England. It appears that some mutton on the top tiers in tho so.unro of the hutches found spotted with white mould, mid that such carcasses could be reconditioned. All the offal wont bad on account of the use of the trunkway when loading wheat in Australia, nnd was condemned. None of the meat had been rejected as unfit for sale.
