At- the tallow sules 2830 catks were offered and 591 wero sold at about 4a. per cwr: ifcclinet, Fine mutton, 70s. per cwt.; medium, 585.; line beef, SOu.; medium, 58s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house, under dnto November 17:—"Tallow: We quote present spot values for the following descriptions:— Fine mutton, £3 10s. ner cwt.; sjood bcefi £3 Bs. per cwt.; mixed, JC2 12s. Gd. por civt. Large supplies and 6inall demand." Messrs. Dalgety and, Company, Limited, report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under dato November 17:—''Tallow very dull, 2700 casks were offered and '150 casks 60ld. Mixed, good colour, limited demand, otherwise prices about 4s. lower. Fine mutton sold at 08s., gut, nominally. 48«." The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office, under date November 17:—Tallow. —Market easier. Quotations t Goixl mutton and beef, J% Bs. per cwt.; .good mixed, .IS 7s. per cwt.; gut, .12 ss. pw cwt.
