Owing to tho resentment of Germanborn people over the pulling down of statues of the Emperor Joseph an various towns, serious conflicts wiiih Czechoslovak troops have occurred. Germans entered the houses and cut off tho hair of girls who were friendly towards tho soldiers. Tho troops in one town waited till midnight to pull down tilie statues.
