STEPS TO: ASSURE FAIR MARKETING. Ottawa, October 22. Sir .George Foster, Minister of Trade and Commerce, states that the Canadian Government is carefully watching the various wheat-purchasing' systems and marketing conditions in Canada and other countries. The Government Is readv to take steps to assure .the fair marketing of Canadian wheat should the conditions warrant them. The statement is result of a plea by graingrowers for the resumption of Government control of wheat—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. THE ARGENTINE CROP. (Rec. October 21, 5.5 p.m.) Buenos Aires, October 22. It is officially estimated that the Ar. gentine wheat crop will amount to five million tons.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
