AMERICAN COTTON
PLANS TO STIMULATE TRAD NG CORPORATION TO ASSIST EXPORTATION (By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright Washington, October 22. Southern bankers attending the Con. vcntion of the American Bankers' Association have authorised the formation of n corporation with a capital of twelve million dollars to assist the exportation of cotton. Stock for half the capitalisation will be issued at once to bankers and exporters. This is expected to solve the problem of export to Germany, .Czechoslovakia, and other European nations. Other commodities raised in the South will be handled. Although cotton Ims slumped 20 cents, it is not moving, and the corporation is planning immediate action to stimulate trading.— Aus.-N.Z.
