f EXCELLENT PIANO DUETS INTERRUPTIONS DURING THE SINGING Largo audiences were again the rule at yesterday's sessions of the Wellington competitions, the evening performances being particularly well attended. There were no outstanding features at tho evening session save the pianoforte duets, whi'ch brought forth talent of a very high order, the winners doing excellent work. In the clionis contests for 6chool children it was regrettablo that a section of the audience spoilt the children's efforts bv laughter aiul interruption, this filet beisig commented on by tho judge, Mr. Harold Gregson, The winners of tile contest. Marist Brothers, deserved their win thoroughly. The comedictta Produced was not the type for competitions, a higher standard being required.
