THE WAR MEMORIAL
CABINET CONSIDERS SITE QUESTION. The national war memorial was one of the matters considered by Cabinet on Saturday, but no decision was reached. Ministers wish, to obtain further information regarding sites before they accept a recommendation involving expenditure. The national war memorial is to be placed in Wellington, but its actual site is still an open- question.
