(Rec. September 24, 5.5 p.m.) London, September 23. At the wool sales merinos were unchanged. Shabby and lower sorts were withdrawn. . Crossbreds below .fortyeight quality were totally neglected. Sixty per cent, of the catalogue -was withdrawn owing to the poor demand. The sales have been curtailed by a week. The Bradford tops market is exceedingly quiet, and quotations are irregular. Sixty-four's quality, 88d. per lb.; fifty-sixes, - 58d.; fifties. 48<1.; forty-sixes, 31s—Aus.-N.Z. Gable Assn.
