There were small yardings at the Addihgton weekly stole limrkct to-day, witn the exception ol store cattle, which showed an .increase over the number of tho previous week. The short market ensured good prices, which generally wore ahead of last week's rates. Store sheep—Tnc yarding was small and the bidding keen. Sound and failing-mouth ewes in lamb realised te iiOs. ad., sound and failing-mouth owes all-countcd to 18s. Id., inferior six and eight-tooth ewes in lamb to 255. 7d., mixed sex hoggets 2is. Id. to 275. 5d., good halibred wether hoggets to 325. 3d., ewe hugirets to 325. Gil., two-iooth wethers to ;i2s. lid., four and six-tooth wethers to 38s. sd. Fat sheep—The yarding consisted _of about seven races, tho quality being about ou a par wilh rccent sales. The sale commenced brisklv, but eased towards tho finish. Prices throughout showed an increase of from Is. Gd. to 2s. 6d. per head. Extra prime wethers Sis. to 745. Cd., prime wethers 435. fid. to 535. lid., medium wethers 395. to 435., light ami unfinished wethers Ills. 4d. to, 38s. fid., extra prime ewes to COS., prime ewes Ms. to 455., medium owes 31s. to 385., light and inferior ewes 275. to 305., hoggets 28s. to 365. Fat cattle —218 ht-ad were penned, compared with 300 last week. Owing to the short supply bidding was keen at the start at an advance on late rates. Good third calvers to ,£lB 10s., springing heifers to ,£l4 10s., inferior heifers J!6 to £7 105. 'Store cattle—A big yarding, comprised almost entirely of indifferently bred and noorly-eonditioned sorts. Ridding was fairly good. Dry cows ,£3 to ,£5 10s., yearling to 18-month steers £Z 3s.
