OLYMPIC HARRIERS

, ♦ — The weekly run of the Olympic Harriers' Club was lield from Brooklyn on Saturday. The newly-formed Stop-out Club ran with the Olympics, the number of runnera beine well over 30. The usual trail was dispensed with, and the pack, in charpe of W. Scatchard (Olympic captain), followed o course which led over the hill into Voeeltown, thence towards Berhampore. A halt was made at Athletic Park for a few minutes, after which the pack crossed the coif links and climbed over the hill until Happy Volley Road was reached. A handicap run-in over half a mile resulted in J. Perston, Workman, and K. Deaglehole finishing in that order. After the run, members and their friends were entertained by Mr. A. Tracey (de-puty-captain) and Mrs. Tracey at afteruoon tea, following which musical and other items were rendered by several of those present. Mr. W. Scatchard welcomed the members of the Stop-out Club, who, lie said, would help preatl.v towards pushinc on harrierisnr in Wellington. Mr. W. Atkinson (captain of the Stop-out Club) responded. Before dispersine. a, Yoto of thanks wai> passed to Mr. and Mrs. Tracey for their kindness. Next Saturday, the end of the season, the consolation race will bo run at Lyall Bay.
