ME. CHURCHILL SPOKEN OF. (Roc September 12, 5.5 p.m.) Simla, September 10. It is persistently -rumoured that Mr. Churchill may accept the Vice-Royalty of India, though previously it lias been unacceptable to him. It is considered that a statesman of the calibre of Mr. Churchill will Ik welcome, sn as to resist the encroachment of a pushful Secretary of State, and deal with the disorderly elements in India.
