BUSINESS MEN'S SYMPATHY ENLISTED. By Telegraph- -Press Association. Christchurch, September 7, . A meeting of the Council of the ChamBer of Commerce was held to-day. The three delegates from Samoa waited 011 the council and gave details regarding matters in the group. After tearing the delegates, tho following resolution was carried: "That this council supports the Auckland and Wellington Chambers of Commerce in recommending the matters brought forward by tho deputation from the Samoan Chamber of Commerce to the fnvourablo consideration of tha New Zealand .Government, and in particular urges that an elective ropreseube granted to the BritfoiTtaxpayers of Samoa to the greatest extent practicable at present, also t7iat tho administration of Samoa be conducted on sound business principles."
