Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Feilding sale on September 3 a good yarding of sheep and cattle came forward. Fat sheep met with a ready nale, store sheep being hard to quit. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Hawera branch, report for the week ending September 4:—On Auguat 28 we held our Opunake spring horse fair, when more than the advertised number of all classes came forward. Practically the whole yarding changed owners, and satisfactory prices were obtained. We quote:—Draughts, £36 to £52; half-draughts, £21 to £2i 10s.; hacks, to £20. At Kakaramca, on August 30, wo had a good yarding of all classes of stock, especially dairy cattle. Moat ofthe latter were disposed o[ at improved rates.
