Quotations, c.i.f. up to £$ Gs., but no transactions reported. "Hemp.—Manila market quiet and steady. "J" grade May-July to AugusOctober shipments now quoed at .£66 sellers. New Zenland market dull and unchanged at last quotations. "Wool—Sales have closed. Good attendance throughout series, and competition better. Continental buyers operating more freely. Demand is chiefly for fino wool. Low crossbreds neglected nnd bulk withdrawn. Average current values New Zealand wools: 60/61's 2s. 10(1. to 3s. Sd.; 50/56's, 2s.
