$ MOVEMENT TO DEFEAT LEAGUE OF NATIONS. New York, September 4. ' The New York "Times" states that a national movement has been launched to onlist 6ix million voters of Gorman descent to elect Senator Harding, in order (o obtain a separate peace" with Germany and defeat the League of Nations. Senator Harding, speaking at Marion, denied that he was appealing to any group or class of citizens for support. Ho was only asking real Americans to vote for him.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
